Hired as a permanent contract as Ad Operation Team Lead at IPG Mediabrands. My role is to ensure Data gets collected while running smoothly through the process. As Lead Adops, my days revolves around Automation and technical consultancy.

As a technical consultant, the importance of Adoperation is paramount to the success of a campaign. Adops are the safe guard of data collection. While trafficking is a big part of the process, its realization can be redundant. However, it does take speed and efficiency to be an Adops. Especially within one of the largest agency in Belgium. With the tools and international resources, I participate actively in the improvement of process using the in-house. There, I am responsible for the data validation, QA, and most of Adops automation processes.

After learning the ropes of the business, i quickly move towards gaining efficiency. Automation became my daily concern for me and for my co-workers. Through Excel and a bit of Python magic, a machine is able to do the work for me. I do take pride of my acheivement at Mediabrands. With passion and enthusiasm (again), I undertook one of my biggest project. More than ever, I spend countless hours on research and learning ways of another profession. There, I found many problems and puzzle to solve which pieces by pieces allowed me to assert my expertise.

Today, with the productivity gain i got from automation, I can focus on the future of digital marketing and how it will evolve to become even more technical. While still believing in technology agnosticity, I am working closely with tech’s giants premium products. this grants me opportunities to create new use-cases. As a technical consultant, many clients trusts me with their technology related questions and recognize me as knowledgeable.
